Pacifica® Galerie is set to launch by 1st October this year. The sizeable facility represents a fresh approach to appliance retail, built to accommodate the growth of Pacific®¡¯s popular design-savvy brand extension, Pacifica®, product demonstration seminars, corporate meetings, and display of an interesting assortment of lifestyle equipment.

"We always welcome customers to walk into our showrooms and view for themselves the great design and product quality standards of our appliances before they buy. We've had great feedback over the years; customers say they just love cooking with our products and we love having them come in and enjoy the experience," states John Cho, Director of Marketing and Sales, who admits a strong personal involvement in the conception of Pacifica® Galerie. Cho also noted that the additional space is needed to keep up with the rising traffic flow and new trends in retail, "We wish to emulate the success of "experience centres" you often see in developed nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. We think it is the way forward for us as Malaysian consumers are increasingly exposed to consumer culture of the West and you can start to see a bit of that now with the rise of various different concept stores in local shopping malls.

Located in the Segambut One-Stop Tile and Home Decoration Centre (STADEC), the showroom features the latest Pacific®, Pacifica®, Zephyr® and Phi® appliances including cooker hoods, built-in gas and induction cooktops, built-in electric ovens, built-in steam and microwave ovens, luxury barbecue gas grills and prosumer freestanding wine cellars. In addition to the existing range of products by Pacific®, the Pacifica® Galerie is planning to introduce a prestigious European brand of appliances by November 2008. "We are indeed very excited to be in the final stage of talks with our European counterparts. All goes well, we should see the products here before Christmas. This new brand to our market is already an established name throughout Europe with strong appeal to interior designers and high-end customers. We are confident that the same will prove true with the arrival of this European design giant here in Southeast Asia" says an enthusiastic Cho.

These appliances are located inside four large vignettes and an entertaining section of the showroom. As Cho outlines his ambitious plan for Pacifica® Galerie, he adds, The Pacifica® Galerie by Pacific?should become a natural hub and meeting place for architects, designers and developers to seek product consultation and design ideas with our product specialists. We invite and encourage clients to seek us out as we will provide such advice absolutely free of charge. We have made arrangements to base a representative from our project team at this flagship centre so that they are on hand to provide further assistance to corporate customers.
